The Company
Our Client provides technical services in several engineering fields to oil & gas companies in Libya.
The Role
They require a QA/QC Inspector for a 6 month (minimum) contract Inspection project on 186KM of newly constructed 20\\\" Gas pipeline in Libya.
Duties / Specification
Able to prepare repair / heat treatment, welding procedures for modifications and relative repairs according standards and test result interpretation, various acceptance criteria, review and manufacturing quality control and plans welding map for new equipment and major overhauling / revamping of tanks, furnaces, boilers and desalination units. Carry out hardness testing for used material and alloys. Follow checking and assessment of all operations regarding Welding, PWHT and NDT as carried out by Contractor. Supervision of all tests, Visual Inspection of Welds and Report writing.
The Candidate
Welding or Material Science Engineer, Must be Fluent in English, Must have extensive background working as Inspector on oil and gas Pipelines. Must have knowledge of International Standards and Codes , ASME, ASTM, API 1104, etc
Competent in using following Software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
The Package
230 Euros per working day. All board and transportation costs met by Client
