Corrosion Engineer

The Role

Candidates are required to work in the Stockport and Aberdeen offices. As a senior Corrosion Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to maintain an appropriate level of contact with asset teams, 3rd parties and internal disciplines to ensure an effective Inspection Corrosion Management (ICM) service and to design, manage and implement corrosion management controls strategy(ies). Other duties will include ensuring regulatory and standard compliance and to ensure effective data management within ACET.

The Candidate

You will need to have a degree in an appropriate engineering discipline / HNC level and engineering experience of pressure systems and corrosion. Have experience in team management, to ensure workers meet their deadlines. You will have proven ability to produce pipework inspection workscopes and workpacks as directed by the Inspection Engineers.

The Package

The basic salary offered is between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on ability. Benefits include a generous pension scheme, medical, life and income protection insurance. Also 25 days annual leave.
